Advisory For Management Of Mango Wilt

01 April 2024, New Delhi: The symptoms of mango wilt appear in the form of wilting of leaves and within 1-2 months period and whole tree becomes wilted. Severe oozing of gum is commonly seen in wilted trees. 

The disease can be managed by avoiding damage to mango roots and treatment of the root zone of wilted and infected trees with carbendazim 50WP or thiophanate methyl 70WP @ 1 g per litre or hexaconazole 5 SC @ 1 ml per litre solution @ 251/ m2
