Dr. Archana Sinha Appointed as Secretary of CIB&RC in the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine, and Storage

08 March 2024, New Delhi: In a significant development, Dr. Archana Sinha has been appointed as the Secretary of the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) in the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine, and Storage (DPPQ&S), Faridabad. The decision was made with the approval of the competent authority and comes into effect immediately.
Dr. Sinha, who currently serves as the Joint Director (Plant Protection) in the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the CIB&RC. Alongside her new role, she will also continue to hold her position as Joint Director (Chem) in the DPPQ&S until further orders.
