Seipasa receives a grant from the IVACE to study the mode of action of its products

04 January 2024, Spain: Seipasa, a Spanish company specialized in the development, formulation and manufacture of bioinsecticides, biofungicides, biostimulants and fertilizers for agriculture, has received a grant of 34,341.24 € from the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness, IVACE, within the program “Proyectos de I+D de PYME 2022 (PIDI-CV)”. This grant is co-financed by the European Union, within the ERDF Program of the Valencian Community 2021-2027.

The grant is aimed at the IMIDTA/2022/8 project “Study of the mode of action of the bioherbicide based on pelargonic acid, and the effect of biostimulants on horticultural and ornamental crops”.

Its main objective is to design sustainable strategies for the optimization of economically important crops through the use of bioherbicide and biostimulant products formulated from substances of natural origin. The project includes the development of bioherbicides for weed control and biostimulants based on the use of microorganisms to stimulate the growth of certain crops.
