10 July 2023, New Delhi: Soybean sowing starts from the first week of June with the onset of monsoon. About 60 percent of the farmers have sown soybean so far, but the following weekly advisories have been issued by the Indian Institute of Soybean Research to those farmers who have not sown soybean in their fields.

In the late sowing of soybean, the distance from row to row should be 30 cm while in the normal sowing, it is 45 cm. Apart from this, the institute has recommended increasing the seed rate to 90-100 kg/ha.
