PM Modi’s message for farmers on new fertilizer bag: Notice issued to fertilizer companies

04 September 2023, New Delhi: A notice was issued in the last week of August to all the fertilizer companies by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers asking the companies to adopt the new design of fertilizer bags. As per the notice, the new design of the fertilizer bag must contain a message from Prime Minister Modi appealing to the farmers to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers with a photo of PM Modi.
With this, the government aims to promote the balanced use of fertilizers, sustainable agriculture practices, and promote bio/nano fertilizers.
