Outbreak of anthracnose seen in soybean crop in Madhya Pradesh

20 July 2023, New Delhi: Indian Institute of Soybean Research – Indore has advised the farmers to protect the soybean crop from the outbreak of a fungal disease called anthracnose which has been seen at many locations across Madhya Pradesh. 

Prevention of anthracnose disease in soybean crop –

Initial symptoms of a fungal disease called anthracnose have been observed in some districts of Madhya Pradesh. In areas where it is raining continuously, farmers are advised to regularly monitor their crops and apply Tebuconazole 25.9 EC as soon as possible to control its symptoms. (625 ml/ha) or spray the crop with Tebuconazole 10%+Sulphur 65%WG (1250 g/ha).
