10 July 2023, New Delhi: Central Institute for Cotton Research – Sirsa, Haryana has issued an advisory to the farmers to get higher yields of cotton crop. In this advice, cotton farmers have been told by the institute to protect their crop of 61-120 days from Alternia and other fungal leaf spot diseases.
Control of Alternia and other fungal leaf spot diseases
Cresoxim Methyl 44.3% SC @ 1ml or propineb 70 percent WP 2.5 to 3 gm or Azoxystrobin 18.2% + Difenoconazole 11.4% SP @ 1 ml OR Propiconazole 1ml or Pyraclostrobin 20% SC @ gm OR Fluxapyroxad 16.7 gm + Pyraclostrobin 33.3% SC @ 0.6 gm OR Metiram 55% + Pyraclostrobin 5% WG @ 2 gm per liter of water 1-2 foliar sprays at 15 days of interval.
