Dr. Anil Dixit, Joint Director of Crop Health Management Research of the ICAR-NIBSM
07 August 2023, Raipur: Dr. Anil Dixit former Joint Director (Crop biology research) of the ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management Raipur has been appointed Joint Director (Crop Health Management Research) of the ICAR-NIBSM, Chhattisgarh. On the selection and recommendations of ASRB, DARE – New Delhi, the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare has appointed him for this Research Managerial position.
Dr. Anil Dixit assumed charge on Friday and will hold the post for five years. An IARI alumnus and senior professor of weed science, he has over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, extension, and administration and was recently elected as Vice president of the National Weed Science professional society.
