29 July 2022, New Delhi: In an order released by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet & Establishment Officer, Dr. Himanshu Pathak has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Agriculture Research and Education & Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (Secretary DARE, DG ICAR) with effect from 28th July 2022.
The order mentioned that Dr Pathak will be at this post till age of 60 years, or until further orders.
Dr. Himanshu Pathak in his earlier role was Director at ICAR-National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management, Baramati in Maharashtra.
