07 August 2023, Australia: Field day season has well and truly hit Western Australia, with a range of events planned throughout August and September. Field days are a great opportunity for producers to get together and catch up, and also to hear about the current state of the agriculture sector.

This week, across 9 and 10 August, producers will head to the Mingenew Midwest Expo. Elders is a proud platinum partner of the event, and is named sponsor of the Elders Livestock Arena. The Elders site will be a hot-spot at the event, with a competition open to win a Can-Am, activities for kids, and a sundowner from 4 to 5pm on Wednesday, featuring a range of giveaways. The brand-new Raptor ute will also be on display, which was part of a national competition, recently won by a local Mingenew grower.

The team will then head south to the Dowerin Machinery Field Days, which are being held on 30 and 31 August. Livestock Production Advisor Georgia Adams will be hosting a parasite sample demonstration, and the team will also hold a sundowner from 3:30 to 5:30pm. Attendees will have the chance to win a Weber Baby Q, and the Can-Am competition will also be drawn.

Further south again, Elders will be at the Newdegate Machinery Field Days on 6 and 7 September. Drop in for a lamb chop at the sundowner from 4 to 6pm on day 1, or tune in to a live demonstration from Livestock Production Advisors Ella-Jane Bird and Tiarna Wallinger at the Elders site.

Elders will have all the usual products and services on show at all upcoming events, along with representation from key supplier partners including Clear Grain Exchange and Coopers Allflex. Attendees will have the opportunity to access field day-only product offers, with up to 30 per cent off the RRP of a range of merchandise, such as drafting gates, pumps, post drivers, generators and more.

Our wool team will also be on hand to talk through our $25 million investment in wool handling, plus you will be able to take a virtual tour of our brand-new Elders Wool centre in Rockingham.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming events.
