UPL Limited expresses support to USDA for Agriculture Innovation

03 August 2020, Durham: UPL Limited expressed its support for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Perdue’s “Agriculture Innovation Agenda,” which seeks to make innovation for agriculture a high priority.

UPL’s Chief Technology Officer Adrian Percy shared the details of how the company is expanding research and development in the U.S. through a letter to USDA. Sharing the details of the company and its global manufacturing, Mr. Percy shared how UPL is centred around accelerated growth with sustainable solutions.

UPL encouraged the USDA’s Innovation Agenda and shared its challenges and opportunities. The company suggested that the policies which encourage public and private collaboration will help driving more research for the need of farmers.

Rewarding farmers for better environmental outcomes will help increase productivity and output quality. Digital precision is very vast new opportunity and rural broadband is essential to support that potential.
