Dhanuka launches herbicide Cornex and fungicide Zanet in Maharashtra
04 June 2022, Pune: Dhanuka Agritech introduced two new products in the 9(3) category in India in an event conducted in Maharashtra last week.
The company has introduced a herbicide Cornex and a fungicide Zanet (Technical: Thiophanate Methyl 38% + Kasugamycin 2.21%SC).
Cornex has been developed by Dhanuka Agritech Limited in collaboration with Nissan Chemicals. It is a broad spectrum, selective, post emergence and systemic herbicide for controlling major broad leaf weeds, major narrow leaf weeds and sedges (Cyperus rotundus) in maize crop.
Zanet is developed by Dhanuka Agritech in collaboration with two Japanese firms Hokko Chemical Industry and Nippon Soda. Zanet is a combination of Fungicide & Bactericide that effectively controls complex disease infection on tomato crop caused mainly by fungus and bacteria like Bacterial Leaf Spot and Powdery Mildew.
The two products have been launched in Maharashtra and will soon be made available in other parts of the country.
