Sumi Agro Europe has signed an Exclusive Distribution Agreement in Europe
01 August 2023, Europe: Sumi Agro Europe a marketing and development company belonging to Sumitomo Corporation, and Azotic Technologies, a leading provider of Nitrogen-Fixing biological technologies branded as Encera™(Envita®), are pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement covering various European markets.
Encera technology is based on a unique strain of the symbiotic bacteria Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus, which enables plants to fix atmospheric nitrogen. Encera is registered for use on a wide range of crops, including but not limited to corn, oilseed rape, cereals, and potatoes.
This strategic agreement will significantly expand the reach of Azotic products throughout the European market and enhance Sumi Agro Europe portfolio of biological solutions, globally branded as Seipro®.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sumi Agro Europe will have exclusive rights to distribute Encera/Envita formulations across selected countries in Europe. The distribution agreement covers key European countries, initially including Germany, France, Poland, and Austria, and is expected to be expanded in the near future, leveraging the strengths of both companies.
Azotic is known for its innovative and high-quality product Envita®, which has garnered significant recognition in both USA and Canadian agricultural markets. Sumi Agro Europe and Azotic aim to establish and expand a strong presence in the European market and deliver new formulations and services, creating value to customers across the region.
