PMFAI Announces Dates for ICSCE – Buyer-Seller Meet
06 May 2024, New Delhi: The Pesticides Manufacturers and Formulators Association of India (PMFAI) has announced the flagship event, ICSCE- Buyer-Seller Meet, India’s biggest Agri Inputs Trade Show. The event, which has been organized since 1997, will feature a concurrent plenary session and is scheduled to take place on 2nd and 3rd September 2024 in New Delhi.
India, being the fourth-largest global manufacturer of Agchem chemicals, has emerged as one of the best alternatives in the global crop protection chemical sector. With its potential to serve as a global hub for pesticide manufacturing, India aims to fulfill its policy of “Vashudhaiv Kutumbakam” (The World is One Family).
Moreover, India is a major exporter of pesticides, with approximately 60% of Active Ingredients produced in the country being exported. The Indian Agchem Exports have witnessed a remarkable compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6% from 2014-2021 and are projected to capture a 55% share in the overall market. The sector has also experienced a rapid increase in the exports of generic and contract manufacturing in recent years, with Indian companies now offering biological products alongside chemical agrochemicals.
The ICSCE Buyer-Seller Meet of September 2024 serves as a platform for all stakeholders of the agri-input industry, including technology and mechanization experts, AI and drone technology startups, importers, manufacturers, formulators, exporters, R&D professionals, and technocrats. It aims to facilitate interactions between successful manufacturers and contract manufacturers, enabling them to explore future business opportunities and procure agri inputs from India. Additionally, attendees can benefit from the knowledge-oriented plenary sessions, designed to foster learning and collaboration.
The ICSCE Buyer-Seller Meet, scheduled for September 2nd and 3rd, 2024, provides a gateway to connect with manufacturers, exporters, supply chain experts, allied industries, packaging experts, technocrats, and learn about Indian manufacturing capabilities and the driving forces behind the agri-input sector in this region.
