Pusa Mustard 27 (EJ-17)

20 July 2023, New Delhi: Suitable for cultivation in U.P, M.P, Uttrakhand, Kota region of Rajasthan under multiple cropping systems. It fits well as an additional crop between Kharif and Rabi sseason spanning from September to January. It is suitable for conditions where farmers take sugarcane or any vegetable crop.

Salient Feature

The average seed yield of this variety is 15.35 q/ha with about 41.7% oil content. It matures in about 118 days after sowing. It is moderately tolerant to high temperatures at the seedling and seed development stage.
