Workshop on Precision Agriculture Conclave for Public Private Partnership
20 March 2024, New Delhi: Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) organized a day-long workshop on Precision Agriculture Conclave for Public Private Partnership on March 20, 2024 at A. P. Shinde Symposium Hall, NASC, New Delhi with participation of scientists, researchers and students and many start-ups and industries. The workshop was preceded by ITU/FAO International Workshop on “Cultivating tomorrow: Advancing Digital Agriculture Through IoT and AI” during March 18-19, 2024, at NASC jointly hosted by ICAR and Department of Telecommunication.
The day long workshop had four session deliberated on Soil, Crop Health, Farm automation and Post-Harvest Technologies, Precision Livestock and Aquaculture and Agri-entrepreneurship and Extending research to Service respectively. Each session was started with background presentation, followed by panel discussion with start- ups/industries and moderated by respective Deputy Director Generals, ICAR.
The workshop was concluded with summary presentation and recommendation for encouraging public-private partnership for precision agriculture.
