Madhya Pradesh CM orders crop survey to assess damage due to untimely rain and hailstorm

10 January 2022, Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that an early survey should be conducted for the damage caused to the crops of farmers due to the recent untimely rains and hailstorms in the villages of some districts of the state. Chief Minister has directed the officers that wherever the damage has occurred, a survey should be conducted immediately. Also, after assessing the damage, arrangements should be made for payment of relief amount.

Chief Minister Chouhan has directed the department to ensure the benefit of crop insurance scheme.
