22 December 2023, ChinaThe overall performance of the national agricultural reclamation economy in 2023 is good, with another bumper harvest of grain, agricultural production maintaining a good development trend, industrial production maintaining steady growth, and investment and foreign trade declining slightly; the operation of agricultural reclamation enterprises across the country has recovered steadily, and the main operating indicators have generally maintained Stable. Compared with the actual situation at the end of 2022, it is expected that the asset scale of agricultural reclamation enterprises across the country will steadily expand, and the total operating income will increase. 

In 2023, the national agricultural reclamation production value is expected to reach 655.789 billion yuan (excluding Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps), an increase of 8.3% over the previous year. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 157.609 billion yuan, an increase of 10.268 billion yuan or 7.0% over the previous year; the added value of the secondary industry was 283.593 billion yuan, an increase of 32.815 billion yuan or 13.1% over the previous year; the tertiary industry increased The value was 214.588 billion yuan, an increase of 7.428 billion yuan or 3.6% over the previous year. The added value of the three industries accounted for 24.0%, 43.3% and 32.7% of the GDP respectively, and their contribution to economic growth were 20.3%, 65.0% and 14.7% respectively. The total output value of the agricultural reclamation industry is expected to be 891.454 billion yuan, an increase of 24.059 billion yuan or 2.8% over the previous year. The annual fixed asset investment in agricultural reclamation across the country is expected to be 256.340 billion yuan, and the annual amount of foreign trade export commodities is expected to be 12.535 billion yuan. 

Agricultural grain production has grown steadily, and grain sown area and output have remained at high levels. The total cultivated area for grain cultivation throughout the year was 77.85 million acres, an increase of 1.22 million acres over the previous year; of which 17 million acres were soybeans, an increase of 230,000 acres over the previous year . The total grain output is expected to exceed 78.8 billion jins, an increase of 1.8 billion jins over the previous year .
