05 January 2024, China: On January 4, the 3rd Sanya International Seed Industry Scientists Conference was held in Sanya, Hainan. At the meeting, the “10, 10, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 10, 10, 10, 10, 100,000, 100,000,000, led by the Executive Committee of the Sanya International Consortium of Seed Industry Scientists, the China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation, and relevant units were launched.
According to Li Li, vice chairman of the Sanya International Federation of Seed Industry Scientists, the project plans to train 10,000 students in 10 years and strive to have 200-300 students emerge from these 10,000 students in 20-30 years. Excellent agricultural scientists or entrepreneurs; among them, 3-5 special talents may be cultivated who will change the agricultural process in China and even the world.
