Outbreak of mango canker disease in mango crop, how to treat
20 July 2023, New Delhi: The problems of the farmers are resolved through the Pusa WhatsApp Salah Segment program run by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). Through this program, IARI (Pusa Sansthan) talks to the farmers and learns about their crop and agriculture-related problems and also gives their solutions to the farmers.
One such farmer from Saharanpur, Sanjay Kumar, told the institute about the problem of blackening of mango fruits and asked for preventive measures. During the program, the institute has given preventive measures for mango canker, a disease in mango fruit, as follows-
Prevention of mango canker disease in mango –
Make a solution of 50 grams of streptocycline in 200 liters of water and spray it in 1 acre three times at an interval of 10 days.
