25 years of “The World of Organic Agriculture” at BIOFACH
24 January 2024, Switzerland: In 2024, the statistical yearbook on global organic farming, “The World of Organic Agriculture,” celebrates its 25th anniversary.
We intend to commemorate this anniversary with a reception at BIOFACH. It will take place on February 14, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM at the FiBL booth (3A-509, Hall 3a). Speakers for the event include Karen Mapusua, President of IFOAM – Organics International, Dr. Jürn Sanders, CEO of FiBL Switzerland, and Marco Kräuchi from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
The statistical yearbook, “The World of Organic Agriculture,” is jointly published by FiBL and IFOAM – Organics International and is supported by SECO, the Coop Fund for Sustainability, and NürnbergMesse.
The history of the global organic farming data collection has recently been summarized by editor Helga Willer in an article in “Bioecoactual”.
