Meghmani Organics Limited forays into crop nutrition segment with Nano Urea
15 January 2024, New Delhi: Meghmani Crop Nutrition Ltd (MCNL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Meghmani Organics Ltd and has been incorporated with the objective of becoming one of the leading manufacturers of crop nutrition products.
MCNL has entered into a licensing agreement with IFFCO for producing Nano Urea (Liquid) Fertilizer by using their domestically developed patented Technology. A new plant in Gujarat is commissioned with a capacity of Fifty million Nano urea bottles (500 ml) per year to cater to the demand from domestic and International markets.
MCNL shall play a vital role in meeting the Government of India’s targets to eliminate India’s dependency on urea imports by 2025 as more farmers adopt the usage of Nano Urea. Additionally, it will help reduce the Indian Government’s subsidy burden on conventional urea.
The company said, “Nano urea is a liquid fertilizer and is effective in enhancing nutritional quality, and crop productivity and additionally, it is environmentally safe. MCNL will be bringing more products in the nutrition segment in the coming months to meet the growing requirement of nutrition Globally.”
