PMFAI hosts ICSCE 2023 in New Delhi
07 September 2023, New Delhi: Pesticide Manufacturers and Formulators Association of India (PMFAI) is hosting its annual International Crop-Science Conference and Exhibition (ICSCE 2023) in New Delhi, India.
More than 100 foreign delegates and Agrochemical companies are participating in the two-day event starting 7th September 2023. The technical sessions on day one of the event had experts on key topics relevant to the industry that included Biocontrol Market Prospect by Dr. Mark Trimmer, Partner at Dunham & Trimmer, Biocontrol Challenges in India by Dr. Sujoy Saha, Principal Scientists – Plant Pathology at ICAR-National Research Centre for Grapes, session by Dr. K. Srinivas, Senior Principal Scientist at SCIR-IICT on Technologies to support Indian Agrochemical Industry.
The second day of the event will have sessions on the Iran agrochemical market and opportunities for Indian agrochemical manufacturers by Mr. Maousd Gilabadi, Chairman of the Association of the Pesticide Manufacturer’s Industry of Iran, Bio-stimulants market review and future opportunities by Mr. Lawrence Middler, Lead Analyst in Biologicals at Agbioinvestor – UK, Indian & Global agrochemical industries, Impact of Chinese manufacturing on Indian agrochemical Industries and way forward by Mr. Jitendra Mohan, COO/ Director at Willowood Chemicals Ltd., Biological solutions for crop protection by Mr. Tomás Grassi, Senior Manager, Business Development & Innovation Novozymes South Asia Pvt. Ltd. (Virtual Presentation) and Drone technology in agriculture by Mr. S. Gabriel Vasanthakumaran, AGM and a DGCA certified Drone Pilot at Lawrence & Mayo.

The event has become a one-stop platform for the global agrochemical industry to connect with buyers and sellers and has been happening since 1967. PMFAI has been hosting ICSCE in Dubai for the last two years due to the relaxed COVID restrictions on large gatherings in the UAE. The current event being hosted in New Delhi is the second event of 2023 as the association felt the need to host one event in India for the manufacturers who missed out on the first event in Dubai and also now the global economies have opened up and it has become convenient for foreign delegates to travel to India without covid protocols.
