20 July 2023, New Delhi: Highly suitable for cultivation in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, plains of J&K, HP, and western UP, Suitable for multiple cropping systems particularly in rice and cotton belts where the fields are generally vacated in November. Under such a situation, farmers prefer to raise late-sown mustard crops which can perform well with one or two irrigations. It also suits well in areas where long-duration Guar varieties are cultivated.

Salient Feature

The average yield of this variety is about 16.04 q/ha and its seeds possess about 39.6% oil. The seed size is small (3.40g/1000 seeds). This variety possesses terminal high-temperature tolerance and takes about 126 days to mature.
