Restrain appoints Dr. Benedikt Cramer as the new Managing Director
15 September 2023, Netherlands: Restrain, a provider of ethylene-based sprout control solutions has announced the appointment of Dr. Benedikt Cramer as its new Managing Director, while current MD Dirk Garos will take up the new role of Strategic Director. By strengthening its leadership team, Restrain is aiming to maximize its technology’s potential to contribute to a reliable, flexible, and sustainable food chain.
Dr. Cramer brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Managing Director at Nufarm Germany, where he played a pivotal role in achieving impressive sales growth in the agrochemical sector. In his new position, he will be responsible for driving Restrain’s strategic vision and growth in the industry.
Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Cramer said: “Restrain has developed a fantastic technology to store and ripen crops safely and sustainably.
