Nutrien leadership announcement

27 September 2022, US: Nutrien Ag Solutions has announced that Managing Director Rob Clayton has been promoted to a role in the global Nutrien business and will relocate to North America. 

Mr Clayton will commence in his new role of Senior Vice President of Retail Operations on 31 October this year and will relocate to Loveland, Colorado early in the new year. In this role, Mr Clayton will be responsible for the global propriety product business, global supplier relationships and global corporate customers.

The Australian business is held in high regard by Nutrien and I am pleased to be given the opportunity to contribute to global strategy in order to support our customers across the globe.” 

Nutrien Ag Solutions has announced that Mr Kelly Freeman has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Nutrien Ag Solutions Australia, effective as at 31 October. 

Kelly currently leads the Nutrien Ag Solutions business in Canada with over 1,200 employees in that country. Under his leadership, the business has delivered leading safety performance and exceptional financial results. Kelly has been with Nutrien since 2008, holding various roles throughout the organisation including Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Senior Adviser to the CEO.  

“Kelly brings valuable global expertise with him to Australia and I know he is looking forward to meeting our people and our customers and continuing our focus safety, digital, sustainability, proprietary and diversity & inclusion.  

“It has been a great privilege to serve as Managing Director for Nutrien Ag Solutions for the past five years. I’m thrilled to continue my career with Nutrien and will continue to stay connected with the Australian business through my global role,” Mr Clayton said.
