Third Lecture of the ICAR-CIRCOT Centenary Lecture Series

14 March 2024, Mumbai: ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai, organised a series of lectures by experts in Cotton Value Cain, technical textiles, by-produce, biomass value chain, and incubation. The third lecture in this series was organised in collaboration with Agribusiness Incubation Centre and Institute Technology Management Unit on 14th March 2024 in the Conference Hall of ICAR-CIRCOT.

Dr. S. K. Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai, highlighted the significance of organizing the lecture. He briefed about the Institute’s work and Scientists’ role in technology commercialization.

Dr. Jagdeesh Sunkad, Independent Consultant and Director, Kanakadhara Agricultural Innovations Private Limited, Bengaluru, delivered a lecture on ‘Pragmatic Approaches to Become a Successful Startup’. He highlighted the different startups and their successful journey. Dr. Sunkad briefed the 3 elements of building a winning startup culture i.e. Egoless, Cohesive, and Listening to the market/customer.

The lecture was attended by scientists, technical staff, administrative officers, SRFs, and YPs of the Institute. Start-ups, incubators, and other stakeholders associated with the Institute participated in hybrid mode.
