PAU-KVK Pathankot Hosts Field Day in Village Chak Mannasa on Agricultural Innovations and Government Schemes

14 March 2024, Punjab: Under the auspices of the Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) team in Pathankot organized a field day on March 13, 2024, at village Chak Mannasa, Pathankot.

The event featured informative lectures delivered by KVK experts and government officials from the Department of Agriculture, including Mr Pandey, Assistant Extension Officer (AEO). Topics covered included paddy residue management technologies, pest management in residue-managed fields, integrated nutrition gardening, PAU’s ICT platforms, and subsidiary agricultural occupations.

During the event, farmer queries regarding various government schemes related to agriculture were addressed. Progressive farmers from the area also shared their experiences and insights with fellow farmers, enriching the knowledge exchange.
