National Testing Agency Extends Registration Date for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) – 2024

31 March 2024, New Delhi: In a recent public notice, the National Testing Agency, an autonomous organization under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced the extension of the registration date for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) – 2024. The decision to extend the registration period was made in response to requests received from candidates and other stakeholders.

According to the notice, the revised dates for various events related to the CUET (UG) – 2024 are as follows:

  1. Online submission of Application Form: From 31 March 2024 to 05 April 2024 (Up to 09:50 P.M.)
  2. Successful final transaction of fee: From 31 March 2024 to 05 April 2024 (Up to 11:50 P.M.)
  3. Correction in particulars: From 06 April 2024 to 07 April 2024 (Up to 11:50 P.M.)

Candidates and other stakeholders are advised to take note of the revised dates and act accordingly. The National Testing Agency emphasizes the importance of adhering to the new timeline to ensure a smooth and hassle-free registration process.

In addition to the extension, the notice also addresses concerns regarding identification verification. The competent authority has decided that candidates may utilize their School/Any other valid Government Identity Card with a photograph to facilitate identification during the registration process.

Candidates can choose from the following options for login and identification while submitting the online registration form:

  1. Aadhar card
  2. Digi locker
  3. ABC ID
  4. Passport
  5. Pan Card
  6. School/Any other valid Government Identity Card with a photograph.

This provision aims to provide flexibility and convenience to candidates, ensuring that they can complete the registration process with ease.

Aspiring candidates and concerned stakeholders are urged to stay updated with the latest announcements and instructions provided by the National Testing Agency.
