All India Agro Input Dealer Association demands a minimum 5% dealer margin on fertilizers

22 February 2024, Indore: National President of All India Agro Input Dealer Association, Manmohan Kalantri met Union Fertilizer and Chemical Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in Aurangabad and requested to increase the dealer margin on fertilizers to at least 6 to 8%. The Fertilizer Minister agreed to fix the margin at a minimum of 5%.

Mr. Kalantri discussed in detail with the Fertilizer Minister on the issue of increasing dealer margin on all fertilizers to at least 6 to 8%, providing FOR facility to the last mile dealer, and the issue of forceful billing of other products by companies, etc. The Fertilizer Minister assured to discuss this matter in Delhi and said that letters are being received continuously through your organization regarding the same. Dealer margin can be fixed as low as 5%. A final decision in this regard will be taken soon in a meeting in Delhi next month.
