AgroViet 2023 attracts nearly 200 domestic and international booths

11 September 2023, Vietnam: The 23rd International Agricultural Expo (AgroViet 2023), themed “Connecting value chains, developing ecological and sustainable agriculture” will take place from September 14 to 17, 2023 in Hanoi.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of Center for Agricultural Trade Promotion, AgroViet 2023 is an important annual trade promotion activity organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). AgroViet 2013 is set to take place from September 14 to 17, 2023 at Center for Agricultural Trade Promotion, No 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay, Ha Noi. The fair is organized in order to promote and expand international economic exchange cooperation, promote trading and international cooperation, trademarks, products, commercial transactions, honoring agricultural, forestry and fishery products, OCOP products, high-quality agricultural specialties throughout the country. This is also an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit domestic and export markets.

AgroViet 2023 has nearly 200 booths from domestic and international regions. Up to the present time, MARD has received registrations from nearly 100 units, equivalent to 181 booths and nearly 1,000m2 designed into specially designed and decorated booths. In which, the booth area of enterprises from China, Korea, Australia, Russia and 45 provinces of Vietnam.

Beside general exhibition booth promoting agricultural achievements and rural development, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hong, Head of Event and Trading Services Department, said that AgroViet 2023 will display, introduce and sell many diverse products.

These are OCOP products, typical local products, such as: ST25 rice, Thai Nguyen tea, Tam Dao yellow flower tea, Nha Trang bird’s nest, Ba Lang fish sauce, Thanh Hoa spring rolls, purple onions. Soc Trang, Ly Son onion and garlic, Nghe An tamarind sausage, Quang Nam incense, Phu Quoc fish sauce, Quang Ninh seafood, Ca Mau crab…. along with special fresh vegetables and fruits of Son La, Bac Giang, Dong Thap…

With the participation of foreign businesses, AgroViet 2023 will feature many agricultural products and foods originating from Australia such as abalone, olive oil, Manuka honey, native flower honey; Chinese fresh flowers, vegetables and fruits; food and souvenirs from the Russian Federation such as cheese, butter, sunflower oil, tumblers, wooden dolls…

In order to promote mechanization in production and information on ancillary industrial products in agriculture, the fair will display and introduce Korean sensor technology lines such as sugar meters, transmitters, etc. shows abnormality inside vegetables without test cutting, using image sensor technology to sort the color and shape of fruits and vegetables….
