Nissan Bharat Rasayan starts commercial supply of fungicidal technical grade active ingredient manufactured at its plant

29 September 2023, Haryana: Nissan Bharat Rasayan PVT. LTD. (Head Office: Gurgaon, Haryana, India; Managing Director: Shinya YAHAGI, hereafter “NBR”) a group company of Nissan Chemical Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President; Shinsuke YAGI) has started selling and shipping of a fungicidal technical grade of active ingredient manufactured at its Saykha plant.

NBR was established in 2020 as a joint venture between Bharat Rasayan Ltd (Head office: New Delhi, India; Chairman; Sat Narain Gupta), a major Indian agrochemical manufacturing and sales company, and Nissan Chemical. The JV company built a new plant in Saykha, Gujarat in March 2023 and then started operations. Now it has started commercial supply of the active ingredient of the fungicide “LEIMAY®”. LEIMAY® is a fungicide with excellent control against diseases of late blight and downy mildew and good rain fastness. Nissan Chemical will manufacture LEIMAY® formulated products containing the technical grade supplied by NBR.

The Saykha plant also has plans to sell and ship a technical grade of active ingredient of GRACIA®. GRACIA® is an insecticide with quick-action and broad-spectrum activities to protect crops.

With the full-scale operation of NBR, Nissan Chemical aims to provide a stable supply of agrochemical products globally.
