ELPIS (Technical: Cymoxanil 8% + Mancozeb 64.5% WP)

20 March 2024, New Delhi: Elpis is a systemic and contact fungicide effective for the control of Downy mildew of Grape and Cucumber & Late blight of Tomato and Potato

Mode of Action:

Elpis has a dual mode of action. It forms a protective layer on leaves and other plant parts, preventing infection through contact activity. It inhibits the formation of intercellular hyphae, stopping the spread of pathogen inside the plant.

Benefits:

1.    It has very good control over Late Blight and Downy Mildew

2.    Its curative action stops the development of pathogen in a crop during the incubation period

3.    Elpis is highly active on and specific to one particular group of fungi- the Oomycetes
