13 December 2021, Indore: The world’s largest cooperative organization IFFCO has introduced new technology Nano Urea Liquid fertilizer. The inclination of Indian farmers towards this is gradually increasing. A video of it being publicised at a fertilizer distribution center crowded with farmers is going viral.

The fertiliser in liquid form is easy to carry and use as a bottle of 500ml nano urea is enough for spraying twice in an acre of farmland. Nano urea in liquid form will trigger a revolution in agriculture, as it is equivalent to 45 kg and will help keep the soil fertile.

Krishak Jagat came to know that this video is from the fertilizer distribution center of Nanakhedi Krishi Upaj Mandi, Guna district in Madhya Pradesh where Mr Sanjeev Sharma, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer of Guna himself is campaigning.

Mr Sharma told Krishak Jagat that this liquid urea fertilizer is being promoted for the last 15 days at all the 8 fertilizer distribution centers of Guna district. He himself is promoting it by reaching the fertilizer distribution center at 7 in the morning, because by then a large number of farmers have already queued up at the centre. The trend of farmers towards this liquid fertilizer has increased. On an average 30-40 bottles of liquid urea are being sold daily. The farmers who had used it in mustard in the first irrigation, are now buying it for wheat as well. It is also being sold through private distributors.
