Registration Committee approves correction in measuring unit of Fipronil 5% SC

23 December, New Delhi, IN: The Registration Committee has approved for the correction of measuring unit from gram(gms) and kilo Gram (kgs) to mili-litres (ml) and litres (l) for retail packs of Fipronil 5% SC being liquid formulation and recommended dose in mili-litres and litres.

In pursuance of the decision taken by the Registration Committee in item 2.8 of the Minutes of 416″‘Meeting held on 29.05.2020 it is hereby informed that the Registration Committee has approved for the correction of measuring units from gram(gms) and kilo gram(kgs) to milli-liters (ml) and liters for retail packs of Fipronil 5% SC being liquid formulation and recommended doses in mili-liters and litres.

Accordingly, all concerned are informed that the measuring units in all Certificates of Registration of Fipronil (liquid formulations), wherever applicable may be read in Milli Liters and litres in place of gms and kilograms.
