27 December 2023, New Delhi: The government has declared the minimum support price (MSP) of Copra for 2024. The decision was announced in a press conference by Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting during Cabinet briefing.
The MSP for milling copra has been increased to Rs. 11,160/quintal. Milling copra is mostly used for oil purposes. The MSP for ball copra has been increased to Rs. 12,000/quintal.
