08 March 2024, EU: Europe’s largest brand survey on sustainability, the Sustainable Brand Index, ranks companies in sustainability every year. In this year’s survey, Lantmännen was ranked seventh among Swedish companies.

Lantmännen has been ranked among the top ten companies in sustainability for the fourteenth year in a row – all the years that the survey was conducted.

“Sustainability and responsibility from field to fork is a central part of everything we do, so it is gratifying that we once again rank high among Swedes when they rank sustainability,” says Claes Johansson, Head of Sustainability at Lantmännen.

“But perhaps most gratifying of all is that Lantmännen has been perceived as one of Sweden’s most sustainable companies during all the years that the survey has been conducted. It shows that sustainability is no coincidence for us. With 18,000 farmers as owners, who carefully cultivate their land for the next generation, a long-term approach and sustainability are natural,” says Claes Johansson.

The Sustainable Brand Index has been conducted annually since 2011 by SB Insight. In Sweden, 29,000 respondents were interviewed about a total of 432 companies. The result is statistically significant.
