At the same time, the expo has added a modern marine ranch area to showcase the latest achievements in modern marine ranch breeding species and equipment, including grouper, golden pomfret, Naozhou large yellow croaker, military cavalry and other modern marine ranch species, as well as gravity Models of production equipment such as cages, breeding boats, and truss cages were unveiled one after another.

The results of artificial breeding of golden trevally, a key research project in the modern marine ranch seed industry, were released at the expo. As one of the latest results of Guangdong’s marine seed industry research, the golden trevally has achieved a breakthrough in artificial breeding from 0 to 1, laying the foundation for industrial breeding and is expected to become the golden fish for Guangdong’s modern marine ranches.

At the expo, Liu Xinzhong, director of the Fisheries Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said that the first national aquaculture germplasm resource census has been fully completed, and the National Marine Fishery Biological Germplasm Resource Bank has passed the acceptance inspection, and about 14 fishery biological germplasm resources have been collected and preserved. Ten thousand copies. The country has established 95 national-level aquatic breeding farms, more than 20,000 seed breeding entities, and 535 national-level aquatic germplasm resource protection zones, initially forming a modern aquatic product system that combines “conservation, breeding, propagation, promotion, and management”. The person in charge of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said that Guangdong is currently implementing the “Guangdong Strong Seed Core” project. The province has 69 aquatic seed farms at or above the provincial level and a total of more than 2,000 aquatic seed production enterprises. At the same time, Guangdong is making every effort to promote the construction of modern marine ranches. More than 5,000 gravity-type deepwater cages have been put into production in the province.
