25 October 2023, Minnesota: Pirkl Ag (www.pirklag.com) Byron, Minnesota, and Meristem Crop Performance Group, LLC, based in Columbus, Ohio, today announced a new dealership agreement to serve farmers in Minnesota.
Under the new relationship, Bill Pirkl and his team at Pirkl Ag, will carry the Meristem Crop Performance product line and become Meristem’s ally in helping Minnesota farmers make the most of every dollar they spend on crop inputs.
“Bill and the Pirkl Ag crew are well-known in Minnesota for helping every seed customer they serve make the most of every seed they plant and win consistently, season after season,” said Mitch Eviston, Meristem Founder and CEO, in announcing the agreement. “We’re excited to be able to come alongside to help them serve those farmers and gain from their field experience as we add new products.”

By teaming with Meristem, we will be able to further customize what we bring to every Beck’s Hybrids seed customer and help them optimize the genetic potential of the seed they buy from us.”
Pirkl Ag has more than 40 years of combined agricultural and farming experience, and Pirkl says the family farm business was born out of a desire to better serve friends, family, colleagues, and fellow farming partners. He views collaboration with Meristem as taking service to the next level. “Meristem is bringing this innovative biological technology to more acres, and we want our farmers to benefit from it,” he said. “We especially look forward to providing REVLINE® HOPPER THROTTLE™ to more of our farmers.”
Pirkl Ag will now add the Meristem product portfolio including HOPPER THROTTLE planter box treatments, REVLINE biologicals and plant growth regulators, TRUTRACK® drift control, AQUADRAFT® water conditioners and surfactants, UPSHIFT® starter fertilizers and HOMESTRETCH® micronutrients and foliar nutritionals. Of special interest is EXCAVATOR®, powered by MICROBILIZE™, a new biological designed to break down tough crop residue and release nutrients faster.
Making the most of every crop season, Pirkl explained, is the key reason Meristem is a good fit for his operation. “We are doing this because our key mission is to see more farmers succeed and this Meristem team is focused on bringing innovative technology to market to help farmers make the most of every acre and every trip they make through the field,” he said. “That’s what our team is about, too: Helping growers raise more bushels at less cost for each unit of that yield.”
