Dhanuka Group Chairman RG Agarwal conferred with an Honorary Doctorate

18 December 2023, New Delhi: Amity University conferred Mr. R.G. Agarwal, Group Chairman, Dhanuka Group with an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) (Honoris Causa) at a ceremony held on 13th December 2023 at their NOIDA campus, in Uttar Pradesh.

Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan and Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan were present on the occasion and lauded Mr. Agarwal’s deep commitment, strong conviction, and philanthropic engagement to make India’s agriculture vibrant and regain its past glory.

Dr. Balwinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor presented this prestigious degree to the Group Chairman in an event gathering of more than 2000 people which included Professionals, Academicians from various fields, students of UG and PG, and Alumni of the university. Amity University is a university with a global footprint with campuses in 13 different countries as well as in various cities in India.

Mr. R.G. Agarwal in his address, thanked the Chancellor, Vice chancellor, and the executive committee for honoring him from this prestigious university with the honorary Doctorate of Philosophy. He expressed his views on the importance and role of teachers and parents in carving the future of a student. He said the first guru of a child is the mother and the second guru is the father and then the gurus come who provides education and culture, and discipline them. He emphasized that the future of a student is sculpted by the unwavering dedication of teachers and parents.
