PI Industries MD & CEO Raman Ramchandran to step down

27 December 2021, New Delhi: PI Industries announced that Dr. Raman Ramachandran will become a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the board and will step down from his executive role of Managing Director and CEO with effect from 01 January 2022.

The Board accepted this change following Dr. Ramachandran’s implementation of his succession plan and he expressing his desire to pursue other interests in Management and Coaching. Dr Ramachandran will continue to be a board member for the rest of his contract period which runs until 30th June 2022.

The Board and management thanked Dr Raman Ramachandran for the valuable contributions made by him during his association as Managing Director & CEO of the Company.

Before joining PI Industries, Dr. Ramachandran was the Chairman & Managing Director of BASF India and Head of the BASF legal entities in South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka).
