Big onion Variety Agrifound Dark Red

10 December 2023, New Delhi: Bulbs are dark red, globular, and round, 4-6 cm in size with tight skin, and moderately pungent.

The crop matures in 90-100 days after transplanting. Bulbs contain 11-120 B total soluble solids, 13-14% dry matter, and 10.07 micro mole/g pyruvic acid.

The variety gives an average yield of 300 q/ha. It has been notified by the Govt. of India for growing in the Kharif season.
