Opening ceremony of the International Festival of Vietnam Rice Industry – Hau Giang 2023
18 December 2023, Vietnam: On the evening of December 12, at Hoa Binh Square, Vi Thanh city, Hau Giang province, the International Festival of Vietnam Rice Industry – Hau Giang 2023 officially opened. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended online in Hanoi.
Attending the opening ceremony in Hau Giang includes Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; Minister Le Minh Hoan; Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh together with central ministries and industries; representatives of international organizations, experts, scientists, business community, businessmen, producers, traders, domestic and abroad rice importers and exporters.
The International Festival of Vietnam Rice Industry – Hau Giang 2023 opens up opportunities to introduce potential, production strengths, rice grain quality and create momentum to promote national rice trade. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Vietnam to send a message to the world about a responsible country for the global food industry.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Le Minh Hoan said: “Now Vietnamese rice has opened up a “big road” by making Vietnam one of the leading exporting countries in terms of output and quality. Vietnamese rice was honored in the group of the best rice in the world. This achievement recognizes the tireless and diligent contributions of many people attached to their homeland’s rice crop, from farmers, direct production cooperatives, experts, scientists, and traders from all over the world. everywhere to the business community…, along with a series of mechanisms and policies of the Party and State have awakened the potential of the rice industry.”
Not only does it create high quality products, but it also contributes to creating a stable and peaceful ecosystem. “I have a firm belief that the love for Vietnamese rice comes from brand positioning for rice growers, for consumers, and for the green environment,” Minister Hoan said.
From Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent the message: International Festival of Vietnam Rice Industry – Hau Giang 2023 to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam as friendly, industrious and hospitable, also promote Vietnam’s thousands of years of wet rice civilization.
