20 March 2024, New Delhi: Delete is a systemic herbicide belonging to the chloroacetamide group, used in the effective control of several weeds in Paddy. The active ingredient is Pretilachlor 50% EC

Mode of Action:

Selective Pre-emergence Broad spectrum herbicide for Paddy. Acting as an inhibitor of Very Long chain fatty acids (VLCFA). Specifically inhibiting electron transfer.

Transplanted Rice	All sedges, narrow and broad leaf weeds- Echinochloa crusgalli, Echinochloa colonum, Cyperus difformis, Cyperusiria, Fimbristylis milliacea, Eclipta alba, Ludwigia pulviflora Leptochloa chinensis, Monochorea vaginalis, Panicum repens	400-600

Benefits:

1.    This is a pre-emergence herbicide & controls grasses, sedges and some broad-leaf weeds in transplanted rice

2.    It provides excellent selectivity on all known varieties of Rice
