The Last Date For Online Application To Provide Subsidy On Agricultural Machinery Under The SMAM Scheme To February 18, 2021
12 February 2021, Chandigarh, IN: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has extended the last date for online application to provide subsidy on agricultural machinery under the SMAM Scheme to February 18, 2021 in the financial year 2020-21. Earlier, these applications were invited till January 31, 2021, but some farmers could not apply till the prescribed date. Giving a final chance to all such farmers, the state government has extended the last date of application.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the beneficiaries will now be selected from the applications received on the basis of first-come, first-served basis. He said that the farmer applying will have to deposit a token amount of Rs. 2,500 for agricultural machinery costing less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs and Rs. 5,000 for agricultural machinery worth more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs which will be refundable.
He said that the applicant farmers can apply online for any of the three different types of agricultural machinery but the applicant should not have availed the grant in the last 4 years on the same agricultural machinery for which the application is currently being made. Apart from this, it is mandatory for the farmer to have his own tractor registered in Haryana for the grant on tractor-driven agricultural machinery, he added. He said that the farmer should register on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal. Not only this, after applying online, farmers have to submit their required documents like Patwari report, copy of online application, copy of registration on ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal, RC of tractor, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and bank passbook, etc. in the office of Assistant Agriculture Engineer of their district to ensure their eligibility.
