28 October 2021, Punjab: The Department of Vegetable Science, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, will organize a webinar on nursery raising and protected cultivation of vegetable crops on November 1, 2021 at 11 A.M. Giving details, Dr T.S. Dhillon, Head Department of Vegetable Science and course coordinator informed that the webinar will include lectures by experts on diverse topics viz a viz, healthy nursery raising of vegetable crops, low tunnel cultivation of vegetable crops and its economics, structure and design of poly net house., protected cultivation of cucumber, capsicum and tomato, soilless cultivation of vegetable crops, disease and insect pest management, success stories of farmers followed by interactive session with farmers. Dr Dhillon urged the farmers to participate in the webinar to benefit from protected cultivation of vegetable crops and thus increase their income.
