04 December 2020, Pune, IN: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Mr. AgroKrushi Farmers Producer Company, Pune, Maharashtra for the commercialization of sugarcane juice bottling technology, developed by the Department of Food Science and Technology, PAU. The pact was inked through Technology Marketing Cell of PAU.
On behalf of PAU, Dr NS Bains, Director of Research, signed the MoA as per which the University offers non-exclusive rights to the above-mentioned firm for bottling of sugarcane juice within India. The agreement was inked in the presence of Dr AS Dhatt, Additional Director of Research (Horticulture and Food Sciences).
Dr Bains congratulated the scientists and the company. Later on, the technology was demonstrated to the entrepreneurs by Er Karanvir Singh Gill at Food Industry Business Incubation Center, Department of Food Science and Technology, PAU.
