Madhya Pradesh govt ensures availability of Agri inputs for the farmers

20th June 2020, Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that adequate agricultural inputs are being made available to farmers for Kharif 2020 as per their requirement. There is adequate stock of fertilizer and seeds in the state. Farmers need not worry about anything.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that 8.25 lakh MT manure has been distributed to farmers for Kharif so far. This includes 3.69 MT Urea, 3.19 MT D.A.P., 0.44 MT Complex, 0.24 MT M.O.P. and 0.69 MT Superphosphate.

Chief Minister also said that as of now 5.75 lakh MT urea is available for Kharif 2020 in the state and 7300 MT is in transit. Similarly, 5.90 lakh MT D.A.P. is available and 16618 MT. is in transit. Apart from this, additional allocation of 1.5 lakh MT of urea has been demanded from the centre, which will be provided.

Principal Secretary Mr. Ajit Kesari mentioned that the total target of fertilizer for Kharif 2020 in the state has been set at 25 lakh MT. Under this, the target set for urea is 11 lakh MT, 7 lakhs MT for D.A.P., 2 lakh MT for Complex, one lakh MT for M.O.P., and 4 lakh MT for superphosphate.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that farmers should inform the control room no. 181 if there is any problem related to agricultural inputs. Their problem will be resolved immediately.
