03 November 2020, Chandigarh: Haryana Government has sanctioned Rs. 49.87 crore to be paid to farmers in district Hisar as compensation for damage to crops due to hailstorm and heavy rains during Kharif 2019, Rabi 2019-20 and Rabi 2020.
While stating this here today, Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal, said that a proposal to this effect had been approved by Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal.
