07 July 2021, Chandigarh: Haryana Government on the recommendations of the State Level Technical Committee, has extended the credit facility for animal husbandry and fishery farmers in addition to field and vegetable crops.
Giving information about this, an official spokesman said that the Haryana Government has approved all the major agricultural crops like Paddy, Bajra, Maize, Jowar, Cotton, Sugarcane, Wheat, Gram, Barley, Mustard, Guar, Barseem/Cow Peas (Sorghum) etc.
In addition to the loan facility given for all major vegetables like Potato, Onion, Tomato, Kharif Pulses (Moong, Urad, Arhar, Moth), Ginger, Bhindi, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Chilli, Sunflower, Marigold etc, now animal husbandry segment like Cow, Buffalo, Sheep will also be included.
